Mary completed her Yoga teacher training and received her certification in 2006 with the Spiritual Life Society and Yoga Center in Hudson. She has been teaching yoga since then at both Ursuline College and the Summa Wellness Institute. Periodically, she leads the Spiritual Life Society’s weekly meditation class. She is an RYT-200 with YogaAlliance.

Mary received her BS in Textile Development and Marketing with an area of concentration in Textile Science at the Fashion Institute of Technology, State University of New York where she graduated cum laude. She received her MA in Clothing, Textiles, and Interiors as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Akron. Mary has industry experience at Bayer, AG, DuPont, Inc., and Better Fabrics Testing Bureau.

Mary has served on the teaching faculties of the University of Akron, Ursuline College, and is currently at Kent State University. She is on the Board of Directors for Esperanza Threads, and is a member of both the Peninsula Art Academy and The Fashion Group International. Mary has received certificates of appreciation for her efforts by both the Northeast Pre-Release Detention Facility, and the Multicultural Affairs Department at Ursuline College. She frequently provides guest lectures.
